Getting to the event

  • Ride the Light Rail.  Public transportation is the best way to get to LZ Maryland. The Timonium Fairgrounds stop is just steps away from the entrance to the fairgrounds. The MTA No. 9 bus line also serves the Timonium Park-and-Ride/Light Rail Stop.  MTA services are accessible for individuals with disabilities. For more information on MTA Bus, Metro Subway, Light Rail, or Mobility service, call 410-539-5000 (toll-free 1-866-RIDE-MTA or TTY 410-539-3497) or visit www.mta.maryland.gov.

  • Driving and parking:

    • The fairgrounds are located near the intersection of York and Timonium Roads (2200 York Road, Timonium, MD).  One vehicle access gate is located on York Road between Padonia and Timonium Roads and one on West Timonium Road about 1/4 mile east of Interstate 83, just past the Light Rail tracks.

      • From southbound I-83 - Take Exit 17, Padonia Road; east to York Road; south on York Road to fairgrounds entrance on the right.

      • From northbound I-83 - Take Exit 18, York Road; east to the fairgrounds entrance on the left.

    • Free fairgrounds parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please allow extra time for parking and consider alternate locations as we anticipate lots will fill quickly. Parking is LIMITED.

    • Handicapped parking is available in the Midway lot (inside the fairgrounds gates, near Zone 3).

  • Park-and-Ride: Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Park-and-Ride lot on Deereco Road, with pedestrian access to the fairgrounds through the gate opposite the Cow Palace.

  • Buses - There is not bus parking available at the fairgrounds.  Buses are encouraged to take passengers to the Park-and-Ride where they can be dropped off and enter through the Park-and-Ride/Light Rail gate. Buses may park for the duration in the Park-and-Ride lot.
